Anybody watch this channel?

If you're unfamiliar, it's black-and-white hour-long interviews with people in various stages of Tymdom: Junkies, homeless people, abuse survivors, porn addicts, etc. Basically anyone down on their luck, the SWU guy puts them on YouTube. (I'm sure he probably pays them. I can't imagine a crackhead sitting still for an hour pro bono.)

I click around YouTube at work and once in a while I'll see a video title that catches my eye like "Nasal Spray Addict: Travis" and I can't help it.

I tend to bail after about 10-15 minutes. It is PROFOUND human misery.

Last week, I switched it up and watched Bobby Lee clips instead. Not sure which is worse.

(Holy cow, his ex is a smokeshow though. Bobby Lee, not SWU Guy.)

Their videos show up often on Facebook flow, so I've watched a few. Interesting and sometimes crazy stories. It's annoying though that interviewer asks in every interwiev: "how was your childhood?". Many times it doesn't relate to anything.

If you have t seen the episodes on the Whitaker’s from West Virginia-watch them. They are an inbred family that you won’t believe. It seems at first that he is exploiting them, but he has helped them out financially a lot.

Dude. I can't hang with the Whitakers. It's too much--WAY too dark. They're like the people from Wrong Turn.

It's kinda like the old Stern show where it was like, yeah he's exploiting people but his philosophy was "These people are interesting. Why shouldn't we put them on the radio?"

The Whitakers though? They're a lot to take in.

I'm a nasal spray addict. Wonder how much he would pay me to talk about it for an hour?

I stumbled on this channel just recently and watched an interview with a lady that had been abused by multiple family members growing up. Some of the most miserable shit I've ever watched. She seemed to be doing relatively ok now, though, so there is that.

I tried watching a few other videos since they seemed like they might be interesting but yeah, too much misery for me.

Also, I've kicked the habit twice.

Constant stuffy noses and the like all the way to early childhood and a nasal spray addict since I could buy it myself. I manage it pretty well. A partial squirt in each nostril at bedtime and I am fine for 24 hours. This sounds gross but putting a little bit on a Qtip and ramming it in over the swollen nasal passages also works pretty well.

I had some weird flu bug with a bloody nose that seemed to completely clear in 2015 then a few weeks later my roommate got a new cat. Roommate is gone but the cat is still here occupying his former room.

I've been following Soft White Underbelly for a while.

Laita is really good at getting people to talk to him. Some of those guests make you want to cry... while others have me cringing.

Currently off of it after a 2 month stint.
I use a cpap, so no sleep for me if I can’t breathe thru my nose.

Some of the pimp’s are really something. I’ve watch a few of these episodes and it’s fascinating to watch someone in real time just talk about their life. Recently, l watched one about a 14 year boy who was living on his own in LA. His perspective at that age was one of a 40 year old. Just wild.
