I had high hopes for this based on the trailer, but found it to be "meh."

the mind control aspect didn't seem to be the main focus, surprisingly.

I've always found the whole "Manson/Beach Boys/Beatles" connection interesting so it was definitely worth checking out for that alone. thought it was cool that they featured his music throughout the documentary.

Is this doc better than the recent Manson doc on Peacock?

I’ll say this, his prison interviews are absolutely fascinating.

That's funny how Dennis Wilson paid Manson cash to use his song on an album. Al Jardine told a story (not on the doc) about how Dennis kicked Charlie's ass for threatening his family.

Absolute garbage.

I haven't seen this one yet, but the OJ Simpson Manhunt miniseries was good.

It looks like the Osama bin Laden Manhunt miniseries has been delayed.

I watched the doc the other night and it was mostly a load of shit. The author guy creating a narrative where Manson was “POSSIBLE” part of MK-Ultra testing was a total farce. Netflix seems to have no issue with presenting certain incorrect narratives with mainstream topics to help their viewership. This was one of them.
