A self-described “MAGA junkie” says she regrets voting for Donald Trump after she was fired from her job in the federal government.
Jennifer Piggott of West Virginia told CNN she was one of 125 probationary employees fired from the Treasury Department’s Bureau of Fiscal Service last month as part of Trump’s efforts to downsize the federal government.
Piggott is a self-described “MAGA junkie” who voted for Trump three times — but has since lost faith in the Republican.
“I cried. It’s scary, it’s a really scary thing,” she said. “I was embarrassed.
When Trump started firing Gov Employess, I was waiting for a story like this to show up. Must be a kick in the teeth putting a Dude in the Whitehouse that turned around and fired ya.

I could "save" myself so much money if I just randomly cancelled all of my bills, whether I need them or not. That's exactly what DOGE is doing.
Elon Musk's companies have taken THIRTY EIGHT BILLION FUCKING DOLLARS from the American tax payer to keep them afloat. Government efficiency my pimpled ass.
The scariest thing to me is that when we inevitably have to hire all of these people back and restart these cancelled entities, it's going to put us into the hole like never before. We aren't "saving" shit.
Of course 86'ing all of these "unnecessary jobs getting paid off the government titty" sound great to people who have no concept of reality. That's exactly what these cunts are counting on. It's Wizard of Oz shit - big, loud actions flashily carried out to distract the little people from corrupt dealings of the man behind the curtain. And a lot of you are just eating it up.

If you took every trait you find admirable in humanity (courage, honesty, humor, intelligence, humility, etc), and dialed each of them to their minimum value, you'd still have a better human being that Trump.
I feel bad for the people of West Virginia. They may be Trumpers, but I feel like most "enlightened" others see them in a similar light as the settlers did to the Native Americans. Not worthy of full human dignity due to their choices and backwards thinking.

Anyone with a lick of sense can easily boil these cuts down to one thing...RANDOM. The rate at which people are being fired from everywhere means there was ZERO assessment of the value of the job, as evidenced by how many back-pedals they've also done.
Musk has to be the luckiest dumb-fucktard ever. The guy isn't stupid, but he's not a genius. Just a lucky grifter billionaire. Nothing he is CEO of was his idea.

Yeah, it's a pretty stable job. And I just promoted to Corporal, so I get to see more of the data behind our population. Prisons aren't going anywhere.

Thank you. Corporal in my agency is the lowest level supervisor. When I’m not bogged down in paperwork, I make it a point to be out with the officers, helping where I can. We have sergeants who refuse to do the shitty work, even when we’re short staffed, which we very often are. I won’t be like that. Our job is to support the boots on the ground, not to be above them.
