Let's start with Electric Wizard.

Love the Dopethrone cd, but cannot for the life of me, understand a single word they are singing.

This goes for most of the doom bands anyway.

Any other that come to mind? Thanks to all for your wonderful input!!

I took my wife to go see these guys at the Wiltern in LA a few years back

The opener was laughably bad, all I remember is the singer had a big grim reaper style scythe

After a few Wizard songs my wife asked 'what kind of music is this??' I said 'Stoner Rock'

She had heard 'Southern Rock' when I had first told her about it, so understandably she was a little surprised

Electric Wizard is the kind of band that sounds best extremely loud, it's kind of like surfing audio waves.

As far as what they are singing I also have no idea. The guitarist chick is pretty hot though, and she jams just like she is one of the doods.

I think most death metal style vocals are completely incoherent, it like 'blaaaarrr soffkoddia maaaaargh' or something
