Is it me or does Sludge seem to be missing something with Mojo only popping in here and there?
The vibes are off.

I hope you are an hourly corrections officer! I'm sure you are, I think they all are.Mojo wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 8:37 am I still look pretty much every day, even if I don't post. My time is definitely more precious, these days. I just got off three weeks of a six days a week, 14 hours a day schedule, with one of those days being a 21 hour day, doing the most insane shit of my career, thus far. Starting yesterday, I'm back on five eights, so I'm getting some semblance of a life back.
Yeah I miss the days when he was renting units out for gay marines and giving them Judas Priest records.HueyRamone wrote: ↑Mon May 12, 2025 9:44 am this is why getting an important, challenging job inst worth it. If you're just wasting your day away, you can be more productive sludging.
like me!
Yeah, we’re hourly. I think it’s lieutenants and up who are salaried and I’m just a Corporal. For us, it’s anything over 40 hours a week. Anything after that is time and a half. Most prisons are on 12 hour shifts, so it would be really nice if it were anything over 8. Alas, it is not.Metal Sludge wrote: ↑Fri May 16, 2025 5:59 pm I hope you are an hourly corrections officer! And how does your overtime work?
In CA, anything over 8 hours a day is overtime. It does not matter if you don't work 40 hours in a week, anything over 8 hours a day is overtime. Anything over 12 hours a day is double time.
