The Instant Pot, a food dehydrator, a bowl of tomatoes and a bag of bread.

Dust

Fly swatter and a rag used to wipe fingerprints off stainless steel appliances. My fridge is recessed, so I can't put countertop appliances on top.

About a dozen heavy duty plastic shopping bags.

There's a cabinet atop my fridge, but a 2-3" gap. I keep the little plastic 4-pack beer carrier rings from craft beers up there and give them to the local brewery so they can reuse them. Sometimes I get a free pint! That and dust.

My overweight overlord Morris. A orange tabby who is master of the kingdom. When he is tired of ruling, he pulls the cabinet door open with his paw and retires to his fortress of solitude. However if i need him i can simply summon him with a electric can opener.

A box of Kleenex and an emergency flashlight.

A couple of cereal boxes, paper plates, a couple of bags of chips, and a box of parchment liners for the air fryer.
The boxes of cereal are a new addition. I don't eat a lot of cereal, but it's summer and cooking kinda sucks so I bought some today.
If anyone cares, I bought Life, Rice Chex and Raisin Bran.

Crock pot, food processor and a large wicker basket holding all my reusable grocery bags. Sometimes my cat whenever I'm cooking something and she wants to supervise because she knows she'll get kicked off the counter.

Flyswatter and this heavy pottery urn thing (something you would serve drinks out of) that I don't think we have ever used, (and probably an inch of dust). We are all short, so there is probably other stuff up there as well?

Nothing. I have a recessed fridge under some cabinets and it barely fits.

I used to keep junk food up there. The cookies and chips. Until I realized it was too accessible and I was eating too much junk food.

So then I switched it to tea. I’m pretty sure it’s the same box of chamomile tea I bought 10 years ago but at least I’m making an attempt.

I just went and look. A box of fast food condiment packets my former roommate - who moved out July 2023 - put up there. Just messaged him and said if he wants them come and get them.

A few retired disc drives. Laundry detergent.

Gonna go clean it off now and figure out what to put in the cabinet above it.

Still haven't 100% recovered from the move. Actually caught him putting all his books and records to the curb and said NO NO NO WAIT and still dealing with the aftermath.
