Polly Holiday (Flo from Alice) Died

I bet no one had her in the death pool. She's the female Abe Vigoda. We all thought she died 25 years ago.
Edit: Well, shit, she died 3 days ago, and it just popped up in news feed. I guess the world thought she was already dead.

in the 90's she was interviewed by our local tv channel. She was in town performing in a play. The host asked her if she would mind doing that famous line of hers. She flat out said " I won't do it, I got paid a lot of money to say that line".

A part of me understands being sick of a catchphrase that made them a household name, but why not embrace it, because it was what made them a household name and wealthy.

I still say that line. As a NW kid I thought "grits" was television talk for "ass"
