I need a fucking flow chart or something to figure out the republican popularity paradigm. When Obama was running for election and was popular, popularity was bad. When public opinion was in favor of health care reform, popularity was bad. When the "mainstream media" was the most popular news source, popularity was bad. When democrats ran Massachusetts, popularity was bad. Now that Obama's approval ratings are down, popularity is good. Since Scott Brown won the election in Mass, Mass is a barometer for the rest of the nation; popularity good. Now that Fox news trumps all other news sources in ratings, popularity is good.

Actually, it isn't that difficult to figure out.

Glenn Beck - funny as fuck fire and brimstone act. He is one 'out there' dude. That's a comedy act if I ever saw one. The worry is that with over 3m viewers, plenty of them must take him seriously.

But for me, the award for #1 douche goes to Chris Matthews and his Hardball show. The guy is one annoying mofo and feel like my head is aching after watching 10 mins of him. I hardly ever see him allowing the interviewee to answer the question without butting in, making snide remarks and generally goofing up the whole thing trying to be a hardass. What a wanker.
