I only just learned about Wikileaks...it almost seems like a way to push FOR tighter internet controls.

IF the site was started by a backroom govt committee, It would make sense as a scare tactic to get 'the herd' riled up for 'more security' and watch the internet close up like a bank vault.

'They' want you to link your Google, Youtube, Facebook, and Yahoo! sites together so 'they' can data-farm your life's activities and somehow learn to assess and then anticipate, manipulate, regulate, your behavior. That's the type of conspiracy your idea plays into.
