The more I look at both of these guys, and as much as I don't like Obama, I think we'd be better off re-electing Obama.

The Romney campaign responded to Obama's Romnesia speech by lying about the poverty rate, unemployment rate, taxes and claiming that Obama will kill jobs by cutting defense spending.

The Romney campaign responds, with a statement from delegate Barbara Comstock.
"Women haven’t forgotten how we’ve suffered over the last four years in the Obama economy with higher taxes, higher unemployment, and record levels of poverty. President Obama has failed to put forward a second-term agenda – and when you don’t have a plan to run on, you stoop to scare tactics. What is really frightening is that we know a second term for President Obama will bring devastating defense cuts that will cost Virginia over 130,000 jobs, more burdensome regulations, and the biggest tax increase in history on our small businesses and families. Mitt Romney’s plan for a stronger middle class will create 12 million new jobs and provide greater opportunity for women across our nation, including Virginia. Mitt Romney is the candidate in this race who will bring us the real recovery we need."

Romney suffering from Romnesia on govt spending creating jobs.

Romney during the debate: "This is the way we're going to create jobs in this country. It's not by trickle-down government saying, we're going to take more money from people and hire more government workers."

Poverty rate is lower in 2011 than in 2010, 1993, and 1983. Poverty rate was over 20% in the early 60s. Poverty is not at record levels.

Poverty rate:
1983: 15.2%
1993: 15.1%
2010: 15.1%
2011: 15.0%
