Bernie and Bernanke

So Bernie Sanders is blocking the Senate from re-upping Ben Bernanke as chair of the Fed Reserve.

and the next thing you know, Vermont gets about ten percent of what it was supposed to be allotted in Federal Home Heating Fuel Assistance.

Am I wrong to take this personally? As a citizen of very cold, very cash-short state, I can't help but feel the two items are related and Obama's fucking us because our junior senator is being stubborn - with good reason, IMO, given Bernanke's track record at the job so far. Discuss.

Well, Jesus, don't everybody jump on this at once.

There must be a couple righties who have something to say about this. Come on, guys, it's your wet dream - lefty vs lefty!

I'm not a Ron Paul nutsack sucker or a conspiracy theorist so I think Bernanke has done a great job considering the typhoon he encountered. He doesn't get nearly enough credit for saving our economy from a complete and total disaster. We were so close

You MIGHT want to look into what Bernanke and Tim Guytner did before they had their current jobs. We might not be as bad off if he knew what he was doing THEN.
