" It's time to fix Americas problems"
I thought it was time a year ago. What have you been doing for the last year
" No capital gains taxes on small business"
He is planning on raising taxes in 2011 on small businesses to pay for his over spending.
" We need to export more of our goods"
We don't make anything in this country-what is he talking about.
"China shouldn't have the fastest trains"
Who cares if they have the fastest trains- we can't afford them anyway.
" A high school diploma doesn't guarantee a good job anymore"
Neither does a college degree in the Obama generation

I bought a new American-made automobile yesterday.
I know, I was too early last year to get Barry's rebate and now too late, but whatever.

I could spend a few minutes pointing out all the idiocy in your post, but I'll settle for mentioning that your thread title says "quote" and you have "quotes" in your post.

The 2009 numbers won't be released until Feb 2010.

It's up for the 5th consecutive month in December, 09. Too bad you can't look this up on your own. Save yourself a lot of embarrassment.
==========
December 2009 Manufacturing ISM Report On Business
Economic activity in the manufacturing sector
expanded in December for the fifth consecutive month, and the overall economy grew for the eighth consecutive month, say the nation's supply executives in the latest Manufacturing ISM Report On Business

How are those knee-jerk reactions going for ya, Vinnie?

You mean the ones from his old lady when he hits her with his belt?

You buy a new car every year?

In December, nine of the 18 manufacturing industries reported growth. The industries — listed in order — are: Apparel, Leather & Allied Products; Petroleum & Coal Products; Computer & Electronic Products; Machinery; Electrical Equipment, Appliances & Components; Transportation Equipment; Paper Products; Furniture & Related Products; and Food, Beverage & Tobacco Products. The seven industries reporting contraction in December — listed in order — are: Wood Products; Nonmetallic Mineral Products; Miscellaneous Manufacturing; Plastics & Rubber Products; Chemical Products; Printing & Related Support Activities; and Fabricated Metal Products.
So, nearly half the sectors had contraction, but that's okay.
I can drive to about 12 different shut down factories within twenty minutes of my house.
Obama was just at a plant in Ohio, pledging he was going to help them out, since they're still screwed there.
But hey, at least SOME of the numbers are up.

Heh. Last January we junked my wife's 96 Mustang and got her an '09 Camry.
The other day I traded in my '07 Jeep Compass for a '10 Dodge Journey, basically on a whim. Monthly payments were the same, got a pretty good deal.

Yeah, but dude, it's a Dodge. There is no such thing as a good deal on a Dodge. (sorry to rain on your parade man, I bought two Dodges in 04 that were the biggest pieces of shit ever manufactured by anybody, pretty much, like, ever. The warranties went out and the multi thousand dollar repair bills rolled in. I guess I'm still a bit bitter.)

They oughta come with free replacement trannies. My mother went through three Dodge van transmissions in two years before getting the hint.
