My dad sent me this book and it's a good read so far:
Matt's Dad and mine worked together in the 90s and they've stayed in touch. It's a bunch of short pieces, about half humor and half political. Matt reminds me a lot of another Matt (Taibbi, of Rolling Stone infamy), but without the self-importance or arrogance. It's worth a look, pretty entertaining.

I like the review on top:
"Matt Labash's book rocks. He is Hunter S, Thompson on acid."
I'm pretty sure Hunter S. Thompson was also like Hunter S, Thompson on acid.
