AZ is second in the world in kidnapping.

I am admittedly in Ohio, where the latin population is mostly Guatemalan, but how in the hell are you going to pin that on Mexicans?
Most of the kidnappings are related to the Mexican drug cartels' turf wars spreading north. Lots of kidnappings and murders due to that organized crime activity where family members of dealers are kidnapped and sometimes killed to assert turf rights.

My admittedly limited undestanding of this, from reading a few articles, is that the kidnapping epidemic and the spread of Mexico's epidemic drug wars to the north in Arizona was the main impetus for this law.

The final breaking point, after greasebag lawyers filing (and WINNING) ridiculous lawsuits would seem to be the rancher that was killed a month or so ago.

People complain about civil right this and that. What about the civil rights of citizens whose taxes are supposed to protect them ?

When American citizens are being sued and LOSING because non citizens trespass and the CITIZEN stops them at gunpoint, there's a problem.

What the hell do people expect ?

People should be blaming Obama, Napolitano, Bush, Chertoff, Ridge, McCain, Kennedy etc. Not the state of Arizona.
