OK, I admit I was really pissed off after reading the article about female genital mutilation, on girls who will have no say in the matter. Simply the fact that a country isn't rejecting such a notion outright is puzzling to say the least. Changed the title, it was just reflecting my mood at the time.. sorry if I offended anyone.

First off, if this is part and parcel with other discussions by medical associations, including those in the United States, where the idea of a ritual nick instead of FGM, then the Australian newspaper is not telling the whole story. It is part of the discussion. Just that.

I think that FGM is appalling, and as the paper pointed out, the rise in Sudanese and Somali immigrants has brought this to the fore. It is a regional thing, in NE Africa. Practiced before there was an Islam.

And if, if they were to do such a thing as a ritual nick...all you boys, especially in the US, look down in your pants and ask yourself if that little procedure done when you were a tiny baby was just a "ritual nick". All those fun nerve endings that got removed. You should read why circumcision was pushed in the US....now they say it's hygiene (hello, it isn't hard to teach you little boy to wash his foreskin), but it was to impede masturbation. Check out Kellogg (yeah, the corn flakes guy)....you who are cut have freaks like that to thank for it.

If you read the article, it says there is a push for doctors to perform it because it is being performed in backyard operations already. It also states that doctors increasingly have to fix up botched operations.

First of all, why aren't the parents of these children being put in prison for child abuse, and why aren't the children being taken away from such mentally handicapped idiots?

And about circumcision being performed on boys.. totally different. Ask Crazy Levi if he feels mutilated and if his sexual gratification is almost non-existent. I know of someone who had to have it done at the ripe age of 18, so there are supporting medical reasons for doing it.

Muslims just want to control women as much as possible. Diminishing their sexual pleasure will make them much more subservient, and will do a lot to stop them going to the clubs to find sexual gratification from a well hung infidel.
