Vote out all incumbents?

Would it be a good idea to vote out all incumbents this November? The government has done a horrible job from the time Bush took office, till now. I know this sounds like a bad analogy, but in sports if you have a team that has done a shitty job for a decade, it is time to clean house. I think we just need a fresh start with all new people. I don't care if you have a democrat or republican in office, vote them all out.

I have heard of this philosophy before and it's bizarre to me.

You hear this every election, and then people go in and vote the same people back into office.
Not only that, then you'd have a bunch of people who didn't really know what they were doing as far as procedures and protocol. It might sound like a decent idea, but in practice it would probably be a disaster.

The procedures of the the US Congress and state governments aren't rocket science. It's good to get some new blood in there instead of people like Eddie Bernice Johnson who has been a congresswoman for 20 years and thinks it's okay to give out $30K in CBCF scholarship funds to her own grandchildren, half of whom didn't even live in the district. I'll take a political novice over her any day of the week.
