Pallazzo unseated Gene Taylor in the 4th District here in Mississipppi with one of the dirtiest lying smear campaigns ever. Pallazzo's campaign buttons just read "Fire Pelosi", her name on the button was FAR bigger than Pallazzo's was.

He unseated a Blue Dog Democrat who voted with Republicans a lot and who was endorsed by the NRA. Not exactly a radical leftist, and a man that avoided most of the distractive bullshit and tried to serve the people. He got fucked by the wave. Now 3 out of 4 districts here have Republican Congressmen.

What surprised me is that before the election, 3 out of those 4 seats were held by Democrats - in Mississippi! Since Mississipi always votes Republican in national elections, that kinda surprised me.

The Republicans cleaned house here in Kansas, we now have John fucking Ashcroft as our goddamned governor now. I'm not hoping but waiting for them to start SLASHING and BURNING funding for education. We'll see what else happens, maybe they'll make a law banning Satanic faggots from the workplace or something. I'm pretty thrilled. Anyways, I don't even know why I go to the polls sometimes living here LOL. It's always an exciting time when it's time to vote though.
