One thing, the Libyans got rid of the guy themselves, but it was with help from NATO that they could do it, NATO bombing the shit out of Gadaffis forces made sure the rebels could drive around in their shitty home made armytrucks, and their AK47s and kill his soldiers, and take him out.

Yeah but I'm a Republican and my party told me a few years ago that NATO was obsolete and had no purpose since they weren't gonna pounce on Iraq for those WMD's they had.

I'll even admit that NATO doesn't have 100% success, but as for keeping the western hemisphere a safe place, I'm glad they are there, and without that alliance, places where I live would be fucked.

It was a NATO mission and we provided some support (not ground support) although off the record I am sure we have CIA agents in there doing the dirty work. However, we DID NOT kill him. Libyan Rebel forces did. Did we play a role off record, I am certain we did.

Yes, Pan AM was/IS part of the USA. An American carrier destroyed over our allies land is attacking us.
