anybody here live in Iowa? does anybody give a fuck about this, I mean normal people, the media is blathering about it for weeks now, what significance does any of this shit have in the real political picture
if these fucks would put all the money they are spending on their various campaigns into the US treasury, they can balance the budget in a month, that is what would really fix America, not all the hot air they are generating

Mitt Romney 30,015 24.6%
Rick Santorum 30,007 24.5
Ron Paul 26,219 21.4
Spending on air and television:
Ron Paul $368,000 = $14/vote
Mitt Romney $264,000 = $8.79/vote
Santorum $16,000 = .53/vote
New Hampshire is next and Romney is leading in the polls with 41%, Paul in second with 18%. So Romney will be the first Republican to win Iowa and New Hampshire.

All the candidates are religious nutcases. Ron Paul is no different than Santorum on religious issues like abortion and school prayer and creationism. They both want to give the states power to outlaw abortion and promote religion in schools. Ron Paul merely phrases his support for these positions as limited federal govt. The result is the same.

Ron Paul barely mentions religion...ever...
The other are a actual nutcases who want to impose THEIR beliefs on all of us.
AND,
Why do you care if he believes in evolution.
That is meaningless..as soon as you find the missing link...let me know then i will believe too.

I like the part where you say his non-belief in evolution is meaningless and then immediately follow it by asserting that evolution is false.
It's meaningless, but I still have to try to prove it isn't true! Because it's meaningless.

Ron Paul wants to impose his beliefs on everyone. People who want the federal govt to regulate pollution and provide consumer protections will be forced to accept his belief that markets will self-regulate.
Dr J Jones wrote:Why do you care if he believes in evolution.
It shows that he is irrational. During the debate he promised 10 cent gasoline.
Gas 10 Cents a Gallon
http://youtu.be/5sc7gtVSus4
So he promises in that debate to deflate the value of the dollar to the point where a dime will be worth $3.80. He does not say how he will achieve that. He does not consider what impact it would have on the national debt or on household debt. The national debt is 15 trillion dollars. After you adjust for deflation it will be 570 trillion. So you can purchase gasoline for a dime but the national debt increased 38x. Same with household debt which goes from 13 trillion to 494 trillion. He complains that the country is bankrupt but then he promises to magnify every debt by 3800%. This is what happens when an irrational person, someone who believes in creationism, controls the value of the currency.

I think even the simpletons of the board can spot what an illogical half-truth hack job this one is. Your trolling is usually far superior.
He's pointing out that money prior to our removal from a commodity based standard still holds its value. This is a boon for poor people who only have their wages to better themselves with and is the mechanism by which capitalism has raised such huge percentages of the population from poverty. Unfortunately by devaluing the dollar you place undue value on assets other than labor, particularly physical assets which can be used as leverage and collateral by producers further increasing their capabilities to expand. It places unearned wealth in the hands of those who already have some form of non-monetary wealth and in my opinion has led to the separation in wealth we see today. In the long run, having the majority of the population with lowered purchasing power will start eating away at the rich as well. It's a poor system that was devised by people who didn't have the ability to accurately foresee the impact of their actions. And guess what? Unless they have a crystal ball to tell them the future, they still don't.
This is what happens when an irrational person, someone who believes in creationism, controls the value of the currency.
He wouldn't be controlling the currency. The value would be dictated by the market.
No other candidate addresses this issue but rather they assume economists have knowledge about the future and can logically make calculations about a point in time, and all of its inherent attributes, which hasn't come into existence yet. If this were true a command economy would make sense.
That is depressing. I got nothing.
