When The Daily Caller caught up with Warns after Santorum’s speech, he expanded on his worldview.

“Republicans were the ones that freed the black man,” he said, before comparing Democrats to Nazis.

“Democrats were totally against us. They were the slave masters. Why in the hell would I vote — not one good, righteous Jewish would ever vote for any German from the Nazi Party … And no black man under any condition should work with any white man that’s a Democrat under no condition.”

Basing his political beliefs on a 150 year old version of the republican party, and Dixiecrats, over which present day party best suits the needs of a probably not very wealthy black gentleman like himself is not interesting, it just makes me wonder what sort of psychotropic meds he's on.

actually the Dixiecrat concept was in effect until the 60's, LBJ had to fight them to get the Black Voting Rights thing thru in 1964, so it's not that long ago, wasn't it a Southern Democrat that stood in the doorway of the school to keep the black kids out? that makes it less than 50 years

9 presidents, or 45+ years is a looooong time politically.

I didn't put a number in reference to the dixiecrats, since there wasn't an exact year in the 60's dixiecrats ceased to exist. The 150 was in reference to the republican party, and the republican party only, he is pining for.
