So you can understand the point Clinton was making, Republicans claim the private sector performs better when there is a Republican in the White House. They also claim that Republican governors create more jobs than Democratic governors.

This statement by Clinton was merely to refute to those claims made by the GOP. When there is a Democrat in the White House, the economy has produced more private sector jobs. It's an irrefutable fact.
