This type of wishful thinking might pass for analysis over at The Weekly Standard, but it has no basis in reality. Israel will not attack Iran without the backing of the United States. And one of the few tender mercies of a second Obama term is that the US will probably not intervene in Iran. Furthermore, Netanyahu barely has any support for an overt attack on Iran in his own country outside of a fraction of Likudniks. So meeting with The Bibster, who no foreign leader likes, and half of whose own country can barely stand him, is a waste of time.

Besides, The Bibster will be plenty occupied in New York with AIPAC fundraisers.
