Wheels coming off in Ron Paul Land

Yesterday on the dailypaul, sandwiched between 9/11 truther links, is a resignation letter from Jesse Benton. Jesse Benton is Ron Paul's grand son-in-law and the Paulbots place most of the blame for Ron Paul's failed campaign on him.

08/26/2012 VIDEO: Jesse Benton calls Grassroots ran PaulFestival "A Fringe Element", wishes it would go away. Peter Schiff reads a text message from Jesse Benton to Paul Festival Organizer Deborah Robinet. The text proves that Jesse Benton of the Ron Paul campaign intentionally sabotaged Paul Festival and the Ron Paul supporters who organized it.

09/11/2012Jesse Benton resigns.

If you've ever had the pleasure to meet or talk to Jesse Benton, you'd know how much of a rotten person he is. You can practically smell the evil on him. Good luck dude, I hope Romney hooks you up.

Didn't Jessee Benton skim off more money per year thanRon Paul

ever earned as a congressman? - Somewhere around $500,000 + in 2 years? For a grassroots organization that's not cool. And as campaign manager for Ron Paul 2012? That was baffling, he did such a poor job. So much so- that he you'd think he was working the other side. Perhaps he was scared of Mitt Romney. If you can't stand the heat get out of the kitchen.

Jesse, this resignation is at least four months too late...

Now, can we get at least a partial refund of the $600k+ we (unwittingly) contributed to your personal bank account? You know, the money you solicited for a "winning" campaign, right through that fateful week in May when you killed it with one of your poisoned press releases?

I gotta give you credit. Your timing was impeccable. I max'ed out my contributions right before you delivered that fatal blow. You've got a real talent for grifting. I only wish I hadn't been so gullible.

Here are a couple of things Jesse Did

You judge for yourself if he did it to help or hinder the campaign. He gave the RNC written permission to fund Romney's campaign months before the convention which was supposed to decide who the nominee was. (that was a clear violation of the RNC Rules)He also said over the press we would not win the nomination a couple of months before the convention. He said we would not have enough delegates or could not keep Romney from getting 1144 delegates when we were building steam. Someone else please chime in and give some more examples of his dirty work.

Wait a minute? People are still contributing to a Paul for President campaign? Romney's had the nomination sealed up for months. Paul has given no indication that he's going to run as an independent and he won't be on a single ballot anywhere in November. Are they really that stupid? Holy shit!

Metaphors aren't your strong suit, much like everything else you chose to post about.

You should really see a shrink about your psychological issues Mong. This inability to ever think you're wrong, even when confronted by facts is a serious problem.

Good luck and godspeed with your mental health.

Seems like the idiots giving him money didn't see that the whole point of the 2012 campaign was to get Ron Paul just enough delegates that in case Romney didn't have a majority, he could trade some to Romney to get Rand Paul on the ticket. Unfortunately for him, it didn't work out that way. If it did I am sure the Pauls would see the half million paid to Benton as money well spent.

"Wheels are coming off the wagon", WASN'T initially in question here. What WAS in question was, "Wheels are coming off in (Ron Paul) Land." Let me refresh you memory...

ONE. MORE. TIME. FOR. THE. WORLD.:

The fuck?

How are "Wheels coming off in Ron Paul Land"?

You do know that wheels are attached to vehicles, bicycles, etc., right?! ROTFLMFAO!

If DEATH ROW BLOW JOB had initially said, "Wheels are coming off the wagon (in Ron Paul) Land", then it would've made sense. And if you consider that an "idiom", then EVERY improper syntactic structure that includes a form of speech or expression can be considered an "idiom."

Fucking hell, some of you guys are 'tards.

Nope...

Ron Paul is THE most intelligent politician of our time. What you don't seem to understand (like many), are several things.

Ron Paul has at least DOUBLED his support base since 2008 and now includes SEVERAL MILLION supporters and they certainly can no longer be called "fringe" supporters. RP knows world financial systems, domestic and foreign currency like the back of his hand. And hence, he has the financial expertise to help get your country out of this financial mess. Obamney does NOT. RP is NOT owned and operated by the Military Industrial Complex (MIC). Obamney ARE. RP wants to end the illegal, undeclared wars in the Middle East that are ALL about making oil barons and associated war profiteers wealthier. Obamney does NOT. RP does NOT accept bribes from lobbyists. Obamney do. RP does NOT BS and has had a consistent record of integrity for DECADES. Obamney does NOT. RP does NOT demagogue - if you don't like his platform, TOUGH. Obamney does. And RP does NOT / is NOT endorsing Mitt Romney in ANY way shape or form. Rand Paul and Ron Paul don't share the same political platform. Last month, Ron Paul had about 20% of the Republican delegates and 7 plurality states won before the GOP/RNC changed the rules to 8 plurality states won, a few days before the RNC and hence completely fucked him over. Before the rules changes, RP was perfectly qualified to not only speak at the RNC but be placed on the ballot. A brokered convention could have been EASILY forced (which is how Eisenhower won with only 5 plurality states, way back when) and Ron Paul would've had a VERY good change at winning the Republican Nomination. The GOP/RNC knew that...and THAT is exactly why they changed the rules and fucked Ron Paul over. In fact, despite being technically on the "right", RP is liberal enough to have attracted a support base of over 50% Independents and/or Democrats...

So, how is Ron Paul a "goofball"?

In REALITY, RP is THE most sane politician in recent memory.

I understand him perfectly, I have been following him for over a decade. Before he became a fringe presidential candidate (who I voted for in 2008).

Yeah right, never would even come close to the support of other fringe candidates such as Ross Perot, George Wallace, John Anderson in a general election.

And 2 million votes? Might be impressive for record sales or concert tickets but this is just a drop in the bucket. 4th place among the 7 dwarfs is not too impressive. No influence on the final result whatsoever, soon he will dead and forgotten like the above mentioned candidates with no real successor or anyone to build upon and expand his "legacy."

His high pitched voice and speaking style. After reading him for 10 years, hearing him actually speak for the first time... I knew the American people would never elect a man who talks like a girl. Probably why he attracted so many truther weirdos and other freaks who he disavows and laughs at even while cashing their checks.

Moggio is too stupid to know that R2012BUTION isn't a word, and makes absolutely no sense in any context.

Moggio is too stupid to know that 270 delegates are far fewer than 420, regardless of how "Bound" or "Unbound" they may be.

Moggio is too stupid to know that the vast majority of Sludgers think he's the worst poster of our time.

Moggio is too stupid to live.

How he makes it through every day without killing himself through some kind of misadventure is the great mystery of our time, and a testament to the advancements made in consumer and home safety over the years. You just know he's carried a plugged in toaster into a full bathtub at some point - which mere decades ago would have resulted in his death.

"Wheels coming off in (Ron Paul) Land", is NOT a "common turn of phrase", a "metaphor" or an "idiom." Those things actually make sense. That doesn't. Get it?
ijwthstd wrote:I understand him perfectly, I have been following him for over a decade. Before he became a fringe presidential candidate (who I voted for in 2008).
RP now having MILLIONS of supporters does NOT establish him as a "fringe" candidate.

That's debatable.

Since you follow politics closely, you know that not every Republican can vote in the primaries, correct? So mentioning the 2 million+ votes does not come close to the actual votes he would've gotten otherwise. The ranking of where he would've finished is debatable since there was MASSIVE voter fraud in the primaries, not the mention how the RNC completely fucked him over by changing the convention rules, effectively killing his chances for a forced brokered convention, for example. Ron Paul will NEVER be forgotten and The Liberty Movement is only getting started. It ain't going nowhere...

So, because you think he has peculiarities, you label him a goofball? Why is that important? What about the actual issues? Or his sheer integrity and consistency? Or his absolute reluctance to sell-out and cow-tow to the Military Industrial Complex (MIC)? Or accept bribes from lobbyists? Etc., etc., etc.? Surely, you MUST be joking, right?

And why did you vote for him in 2008, if you think he's a fraud and you clearly hold a grudge against him? :? You do know that he actually gives the remainder of his annual budgetary capital BACK to the US Government at the end of the fiscal year, right?

You know, when you're trying to be pseudo-satirical, try getting the actual #s correct, dumb-shit. And no, there weren't "far fewer"...but they were less, yes.
