A Stock Market Vote of Confidence for Obama
By Lawrence Kudlow

I have long believed that stock markets are the best barometer of the health, wealth and security of a nation. And today's stock market message is an unmistakable vote of confidence for the president. Even the best low-tax, limited-government economic policies can be thwarted if the men and women going to work in the morning can't get safely back to their homes and families at night.

Obama has been better for the stock market, and will be better for the stock market than Romney.

Really? Im thinking of locking my money right now since everything is going to shit with Obamas Lybia and Egypt ect...? Do you think the market will go up in october. The way Im set up I can only trade once a month so I dont want to cash in and get off the rallytrain....I thought the market would do better with anew president, isnt it historically the case?

No. The market did amazing in both of Clinton's terms, overall did well in Reagan's terms, did well in most of W's 2 terms except for 9-11 and the last year or so of his presidency. I still stick to my quote. The Dow almost completely recovered during Obama's time in office. What You won't hear from Romney is how he made most of his money in the stock market under Obama's watch.

As far as the market goes in October, I'll be working it. The current conflicts are just more of the same over there with a different twist. If we go to war with Iran, that will be a good time to worry about the market.
