Listen, I don't agree with the Obama administration's present stance on drugs, but to think he was going to do something in his first term ( not to say he WILL do something in his second term ) is naive. With all the shit the right batters him about that isn't true, he just didn't have the luxury of doing anything in his first term.

Also, if you think Romney would lessen the present drug laws, you're sadly mistaken.

There is no evidence of lying or hypocrisy in the video.

First, people who are stupid often confuse breaking a promise with lying. It's only lying if he had no intention of fulfilling the promise when he made the promise. There is no evidence in that video that he said he was going to do one thing while intending to do another.

Second, the administration said in March 2009 that they were going to change the medical pot policy and only go after traffickers who are using the medical pot laws as a shield. The video does not address the specifics of their policy and whether they are closing legit medical pot dispensaries. If you live in a state with medical pot, you know it's easy for someone who is perfectly healthy to get a corrupt physician to prescribe pot and that drug dealers use the medical pot laws as a shield. The video does not bother to address that side of the issue at all.
