This is how much of a scumbag Romney is!

Romney's company, Bain Capital, is currently closing the Sensata plant in Freeport, Illinois, putting 170 American workers out of work and shipping those jobs to China. The plant isn’t closing because it wasn’t making a profit. It netted $471 million last quarter. It’s being closed because they can pay Chinese workers–mostly women–99 cents per hour. Romney stands to make $7 million on the deal. Yes, Romney is the great job creator–the great job creator for China.
This scumbag CANNOT be president!

Business is business.
Instead of bitching, start up your own business doing the same thing. But bitching is much easier, so I'll assume you'll just sit on your ass and keep complaining.

Why would I want to destroy America and instead make China richer and more powerful? That's unpatriotic.

You obviously know how to do it better without having to find ways to cut costs, so put up or shut up.

So, tell me again how we can trust Romney to do what's right for America instead of China and his bank account?

Fact. Business is about making money.
Fact. Solyndra didn't make money.
Fact. They are gone and the taxpayer money is back in Barry's account through donations.
Bain is different from Solyndra how exactly? Romney is no more cold hearted than Obama. Both could have pumped money into either failing enterprise and let all those nice people keep their jobs. It would not make a lick of business sense, but it would sure be nice.
Trying to paint Romney as some evil fucker for doing business the way business is done shows you have no sense of how the real world works.
We could keep more jobs here by lowering corporate tax rates and making ourselves more appealing to business, but I can hear the left screaming "corporate welfare!" already.

Failing enterprise? Sensata in Freeport was quite profitable. It had record profits last quarter. You didn't even bother to do any basic research on this before you decided to opine. You have no sense at all. Anything else, fuckhead?

I took a quick look and saw that all the stories on this were from sources that make Fox news like the fair and balanced network they claim to be. Huffpo, Kos, etc.
Some stated "record profits" but I didn't see any real numbers unless they related to Bain's total profits. I can only assume the "record profits" of this enterprise weren't that great and can be at least doubled by going overseas. Otherwise they wouldn't go to the trouble and lose control of their operation (which they will to some degree in China where you don't really own your factory) Say what you will about Bain, but their record is not a loser.
It's sad for sure. We need to find a way to keep manufacturting here and grow it. Stringent EPA laws, "high wages" (I know, I know) and the highest corporate tax rate in the world are to blame for these jobs leaving, not Bain.
Hate the game, not the player.
Romney has claimed he will lower corporate tax rates, dial back on EPA regulations and work to make a government that is appealing to businesses. Our current one is not, as Bain is certainly not the only company getting the hell out of here.
Maybe it makes sense to talk to people who are moving their jobs overseas and asking "why?" I'm guessing Obama doesn't want to make it a campaign theme.
So there you go. Just a side note, You might want to lay off with the "dumbfucks" and telling people they have no sense. You aren't nearly as good at this as you think, and it makes you look small and petty. But I can't blame you for following Obama's lead. It's what you know.

You hear something and then repeat it without even thinking about what you are saying. You're a joke.
First, under Obama, corporate taxes are very low. They comprise less than 10% of total tax receipts. The problem with the economy is not high corporate taxes There is no reason to lower corporate taxes.
Percentage Composition of Receipts by Source - Corporate taxes
2004: 10.1% of federal receipts
2005: 12.9% of federal receipts
2006: 14.7% of federal receipts
2007: 14.4% of federal receipts
2008: 12.1% of federal receipts
2009: 6.6% of federal receipts
2010: 8.9% of federal receipts
2011: 7.9% of federal receipts
2012: 9.6% of federal receipts
Second, the primary reason jobs are sent overseas is because of the relative value of the dollar. Reagan devalued the dollar at the Plaza Accord in 1985 to save the rust belt. Romney said he wants to make the dollar stronger which means he wants to encourage corporations to ship jobs overseas.
"Romney said he would seek someone to provide “monetary stability that leads to a strong dollar and confidence that America is not going to go down the road that other nations have gone down, to their peril.”
Third, employment in oil and gas extraction is at a 20 year high right now. There are 27% more employed in that field than in Dec 2007, when the Bush recession started.
Oil and gas extraction
http://data.bls.gov/timeseries/CES1021100001
Dec 2007: 153,500
Sept 2012: 195,000
There is no reason to believe dialing back the EPA will create a significant number of jobs. It's simply permission to pollute more.
Fourth, you're dumber than dog shit.

I was hoping you'd be bright enough to catch my double snark on high wages but I should have known better. So, with the fact that China, and others are flashing their DD rack at companies in the form of low wages, how do we counter? Our options aren't great. We have a minimum wage here, and we won't be competing on price, so our best bet is to lower corporate taxes on these jobs (yes LOWER than any other country) and keep regulations to a reasonable minimum. If you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it and so would Obama because that fucker has no plan to keep those jobs here. You heard him say it in the third debate in what sounded to me like a direct quote from Mccain/Palain in 08.

So do you not get how tax receipts work or are you hoping no one else does? You are giving stats that show under an Obama economy, we are taking in LESS money than we did under Bush even though rates have remained roughly the same since 1993.
What does that tell you? (hint you WANT that number to be higher if the rates remain rougly unchanged)
Also, we now have the highest tax rate of any western nation. That is not because we have raised our rates, but others are lowering theres. Strange that the country that perfected the free market system can't seem to follow along.

No link or chart on that one? It's okay, you are a deep thinker and I trust you.
That being said, Obama's plan should work perfectly. Lets get our dollar down to less than a Rupi and we can all have wonderful jobs working for $2 an hour.

Yeah, North Dakota is doing GREAT! You can thank Bush for opening up the private land permits. You can Thank Obama for cutting out 17% on national lands that could be helping a few more people make a living.
And Really? You are going to compare 2007 to 2012? I would certainly hope that 5 fucking years after the recession clunked us on the head we could make up a few thousands jobs in one of the few industries that actually provides them.
As for the EPA, it was Obama who said "You can build a coal plant, but it will go bankrupt."
I'm all for clean energy, but I'm not for ignoring viable sources of cheap energy and killing jobs. How that bitch has a prayer in PA or OH I'll never understand.

Sensata is a global company to start with. The workers in Freeport threatened to Unionize. There were protests. The company said that if they unionize that they would shut down the plant. Jesse Jackson got involved, so you know it was a matter of time before it went to shit.
There are tons of articles on the whole story but they're all from biased sources. There are no sales/production numbers for the actual plant that I can find. Yes the whole company was profitable but what were the plants numbers. It is sketchy that Sensata is being quiet about it but I don't see any "watergate" moment.

China's labor costs are rising rapidly. Rapidly enough that even the US is becoming more competitive. The answer is to make them more like us, not the other way around.
