I miss KissAcademy and Akoni. :(
BattleHymns? Love that dude! He sent me a pic from Iraq...

What's going on Tin?
Of course Roadhead counts! Hopefully he'll pop in here. I miss KA but I can't say I miss Akoni, he turned weird and stalkerish at the end.

BattleHymnes was such a solid guy...a little while back I saw that BH was still dealing with the issues with his neck :( but that he recently remarried, and I was happy to see that!

My favorite person from here will always be IronDamien, dang we had fun and I miss him. And of course Woland and Madman, and your favorite Rev, rattlehead/Chancer Sore. Such good times with those guys...

Eh, that's the way it goes sometimes.

Have you come to your senses about gay marriage? I am proud I was able to cast a vote for marriage equality yesterday. A bright spot of this election.

Of course I'm lurking.
I'm now officially jealous of Damien, my fellow countryman if I remember correctly!

Glad to hear Rev is still around! Did you ever release the Comet Chaser book (I think that was the title, right?) I'm still buying if you do!
KissAcademy was a great guy, we traded some VHS via mail and he liked Kiss and GN'R so he can't be a bad person. He was also the guy who scared the holy shit out of Slash during the infamous New York Ritz gig in 1988 by jumping on stage so he's a legend in my mind!
I also miss Tollywood, great guy, I got him confused with my messed up changed of heart regarding politics but he was always very nice to me (and he has a really HOT wife).
Akoni I dont remember too well, wasn't he the guy who worked at the UN but kept critictizing UN and the rest of the world?
Who was the guy who was very republican but had a lot of health issued? lex-something or les-someting, he was awesome too, very fun guy.
Damien, being french, is god-like.
Tin00can rings a bell too but I can't remember where he stood politically speaking, I think liberal.
And of course, Chickenona: MILF and real fun too.
Scorpio88, well she's always been special to me, we met in Paris and had a lot of fun in the city.
Anyone heard of MadmanSheperd? He was a true metalhead and a fun guy too!

God damn I fuckin miss these days! The gossip and war board suck hairy donkey balls these days, there's no RockNRev vs the rest of the world anymore, how fucking boring...

If any of you guys still check in, send me a PM regardless of our disagreements from the past: I've changed my mind on a lot of subjets and the most important thing to me was the fun we had on this silly board.

I pop in here once in a while and take a look around. I'm trying to avoid the topic of politics since the next several election cycles are going to go in a horrifying direction and I'm really trying to tune it all out. It's kind of like being a Dallas Cowboys fan (which I am). Hard to watch the games when you know damn well how they will end. I just listen to my KISS records and watch 70s and early 80s tv series on youtube and dvd and it all goes away for a while :)

I've seen MadmanShepard on the Gossip Board recently. Haven't seen tolly_wood in quite a few months now that you mention him.

I'm not sure what's going on with lerxstcat - he disappeared a few months ago and another poster said he's "going through a hard time". I left it at that.

Thanks for PMing me about this Stoner.

I mainly stick to the gossip board. usually check it out once a day and post occasionally. i have officially gotten tired of arguing about politics on the internet....well aside from the occasional facebook arguments.

I've expanded my music horizons quite a bit so I focus more on that.

Anybody remember Monty? He posts on the gossip board a bit. We used to message back and forth (coincidentally I am wearing my Alrosa Villa tshirt right now that the owners daughter gave me when I stopped by. If you remember, Monty was there when Dimebag was murdered)

Lerx also posted occasionally. He was a huge Bush supporter and oddly he was a huge Obama supporter because of the healthcare bill. Also a big Uriah Heep fan.

Don't know if Scorp will see this but we used to email back in the day.

Rev, turns out I have relatives living in your town. I drove through there two summers ago. Didn't even realize my grandma grew up in Lawrence (never really close with her so didnt speak to her much).

What else, what else....

I'm still kicking it in the midwest and we haven't been sucked into hell despite gays getting married legally and cigarette smoking outlawed in public places.

Hows everybody else doing?
This must be HELL for we are the damned...

KVP,

I forgot about you for a moment but we used to message each other too. I love to brag about my french heritage even though I think I'm only 1/32nd french or something. Found out an ancestor of mine was a French huguenot that fled to the Netherlands and then America. He founded a town which is now in West Virginia and his house is still standing 250 years later.

Good times

Hey Madman! How the hell are ya?! It's been a long time my friend! Good to see you too Roadhead!

We've got a lot of the old gang back, so awesome! Now if Woland would stop by.

I really, really miss my sweetie pie rattlehead/Chancer Sore but I know he won't pop back in here, he was like the first one to bail on this place. I stayed in touch with him for a really long time after he left and we wasted hours on the computer together but when I stopped working a boring office job for 8 hours a day it was tough to stay in touch.

Doing good over here.

So you don't work at a boring office job anymore? What do you do? Still in the DC area?

I honestly am having trouble remembering user names except the main culprits. They change so much its hard to keep track.

Well Damien, the place turned to shit when I left. And I only left because you left. Or did you leave because I left?

Madman, yep I'm still in the DC area.

Miss you guys!

Remember when the Republican party based their entire 2012 election strategy on "you didn't build that?"

Nostalgia always makes things seem better than they were, but yeah, we had some fun for sure. It just isn't the same now.

Now get off my internet lawn.
