If your guy loses will you blame the hurricane?

"Obama would have won the entire election if that one small town had electricity!"

Obama has done a magnificent job during the hurricane, and getting Chris Christie on his side - and all the good press that has come with it - has been the coup of the campaign.

So no, if Obama loses, I certainly won't blame the hurricane.

But when Romney loses...holy fuck you'll never hear the end of it. It'll be like the Florida Recount of 2000 for Republicans.

I think New Jersey is a lock for Obama just like New York, so if the Romney folks blame the hurricane then yeah, they're fucking insane.

Of course...but you realize the ramifications of Obama's presence in NJ - and the nationally popular Christie's defacto defection to the Obama side - extend far beyond the Garden State, right?

Obama could not look more Presidential during this whole thing, and it could make a difference on Tuesday.

I'm not personally blaming the President, but those people do see that Jersey is getting help while they rot. If it becomes national news then it'll hurt the president. If not then it won't do a thing to him.

And yeah, Bloomberg is a complete fucking jackass. The fucker even waited until the last minute to cancel the Marathon (and only because we were enraged to see he was using two huge generators to power tents for the runners instead of the people of NYC). Because of that fucker New Yorkers made homeless were thrown out of hotels because the runners had reservations.

Romney will lose and the excuses will be:
1) voter fraud
2) storm
3) Romney was not conservative enough
4) Republicans can't win when half the country is on welfare (even though most of the people on welfare live in red states).
5) the country is stupid for preferring a 2nd term of Obama over a 3rd term of Bush (the invisible man in 2012).
6) Zombie Jesus did not want a Mormon president.

Bloomberg is just another NYC Mayoral jackass who hung around too long, like Koch and Gulliani before him.

These guys were all hugely popular at one point and well overstayed their welcome.

Bloomie should have stepped aside when his 2 terms were up instead of muscling through an additional term in defiance of the term limits he once supported. Now this is his legacy and nobody is gonna forget what a fuck up he was during this disaster.

And that's the end of his Presidential hopes as well.

Cuomo is kicking ass during this disaster. On the news this morning he said the state was closely monitoring the power companies to make sure they weren't trying to sit on their hands and treat this as a normal power outage. He actually said (and I think I have the quote right), "The power companies aren't happy with this and frankly I don't care."

The motherfucker just got my vote!
