Huntsman is the only "R" I've voted for without holding my nose. He did some good things here. Unfortunately, after he became the ambassador to China, his lieutenant governor managed to undo most of the good stuff he did.

RATTrules is a uniter! All points on the poltical spectrum agree they are a fucking idiot.
Huntsman seems okay...I'd have to look deeper, but he seems moderate (as those things go in the GOP these days).

I probably would have voted for him and I know a few moderates-leaning-liberal who felt the same. I think the republican problem is that their answer is to get more extreme, much like a child deciding the right thing to do to get the ice cream is to kick up the tantrum a notch or three.
