Well, I agree with everything you said except for putting those two nukes on Japan in a negative light. An invasion of the home islands of Japan were estimated to result in a Million deaths on each side, which would have been far greater than the casualties incurred at Nagasaki and Hiroshima.


Not sure about the French rising to the occasion for thousands of years. I know they were pretty kick ass for awhile, but thousands would entail they weren't getting their asses handed to them when Rome was a super power.
