* flip-flopped and downright LIED about almost EVERY SINGLE GOD DAMN '08 campaign promise, apart from maybe Obamacare
* owned and operated by the Military Industrial Complex (just like Romney)
* destroyed almost all of the 4th Amendment and part of the 1st Amendment
* has added over $6 trillion to the debt - which is more than ALL 40+ US Presidents in history COMBINED...and in only 3 1/2 years - which to date brings the total to $16.8 trillion
* doesn't know JACK SHIT ALL about economics or fiscal responsibility to save his life and hence is driving the US (and much of the world) into a double-dip recession that will make the current Housing Bubble Crisis look like a CAKE WALK
* wants stricter gun control laws, despite the FACT they haven't worked in other countries, but is partially responsible for the killings of TENS OF THOUSANDS of innocent civilians through collateral damage throughout the Middle East and Afghanistan

The Bush recession ended 4 years ago in June 2009. So there is no chance of a "double dip" recession. Double dip refers to a recession resuming within a year after the trough of the last business cycle. 80-81 saw a double dip recession.

It's also laughable to say that Obama knows nothing about fiscal responsibility when he has raised taxes numerous times and cut spending.

Obama cut taxes too (payroll tax) and extended the Bush tax cuts completely in 2010 and then again in 2013 for most brackets. In fact, all but the over $400k tax cuts are now permanent. Seems like doubling down to me. With that as the reality, these are now the Bush/Obama tax cuts and any and all impacts positive or negative should be recognized in that context. Other than that, outside of the healthcare disaster created, we've gotten nothing from Obama that we wouldn't have gotten from John freaking McCain and that's pretty sad. Except McCain probably could have brokered some real deals with Congress without every single thing being a made up, self inflicted crisis.

It's also full of fraud and abuse, though I am sure that was previously true as well--just a bigger number now. It's certainly not what Reagan had in mind and is an example of how social programs end up being corrupted.

Looking at this and things like the incredible surge in food stamp recipients, low wages, unemployment and underemployment numbers, I'm thinking while Obama may not should get Obamaphone hung on him, he's putting himself in nice position to be known for the "Obamapoor" he's leaving behind.

The Federal Lifeline program, which is paid for by customer fees on most phone bills, began in 1985 under the universal access initiative instated by Ronald Reagan’s administration. The government began offering discounted phone service to needy Americans who were unemployed or living at or below the poverty level.

In 1996, the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) created the Universal Service Fund, stating that all providers of telecommunications services should contribute a specified fee to the fund to be used to increase nationwide access to advanced telecommunications services” and “advance the availability of such services to all consumers, including those in low income, rural, insular, and high cost areas at rates that are reasonably comparable to those charged in urban areas.” Thus the program shifted from discounted landlines to mobile phones, since they were thought to be more useful.

All it took to get the righties, teatards and Canadian Zappa fans wound up about this program that's been around for 30 years and provides a service to low income families was ONE stupid loudmouthed, uninformed black lady at a Romney event..
