His absence is felt.
Like an untumor.
But worse.
Harmless, yet slightly painful. And you wonder what you could have done different to prevent it's existence, or in this case, lack thereof.

Hey CSHB,
I'm still alive! I haven't been around like I would like to, but I do try to drop in for at least a minute every day or two. I feel like I'm out of the posting groove, and haven't found that thing to kick me back in gear.
Knuckman, it was fun chatting with you for like two minutes before blast chat chose to be an asshole. That is possibly the most difficult chatroom i've ever attempted to participate in.

Re: Woosh
No single one thing, I've just been preoccupied with all kinds of random stuff; some good, some not good. Then, when I do get a chance to post, I just feel like I can't (or don't have anything of value to say/contribute). It's like I lost my stride, and it's hard to get back in the posting groove. I know it sounds silly, or like I am overthinking posting; maybe it is. But if I had been posting, I think it would have been a lot of awkward, non-sensical, no-content posting the past couple months. It would have hurt any good will I've tried to build among my peers as a poster (although I guess I don't have a ton of posting good will, but a few people know me, I suppose).
I'm going to try to kick up my participation levels, though, and start mingling with my Sludge friends some more. I know it is attention whorish, but it does feel good to be asked about despite my absence (or because of it, I guess, lol). I do think if more people thought about their posting like I did, it would probably be a much more docile, boring-yet-competent place, though. Which, looking at it that way, I guess is a negative thing.

I once spent months all "oh noes i forgot how to be funny and can't post anymores because i'm not sad right now". Fortunately, I became sad again and I haven't been not sad since. Mojo restored. Though if I was ever funny I don't think that part came back.
