If I were guessing, I'd think Rob Sheridan would be a good candidate. He's a creative guy, he hasn't burned out yet & he certainly has the proximity.

Sheridan and Reznor are not the most God loving or believing people on earth. Even musical writers noticed a change in style and called Year Zero his most "sophisticated" of any of his writings. Reznor doesn't care how his actions affect people (note his pro-suicide rants).
