One of the seasons that Russell didn't win a championship is when he was out with a broken ankle. Only once in his career did he walk off the floor at the end of a season without getting the trophy. Kobe is good, but he has a long way to go to catch #6.

Kobe has the same kill em all mentality as Jordan, HOWEVER until he takes two years off to stupidly pursue another sport, we can't say Kobe is better than Mike simply for winning a sixth. We'll never know what might have been had Mike not wigged after the '93 ring.
