Yeah, it's great. One of the best sports series I've seen. The 4th and final episode airs tomorrow night.Anne_Thrax wrote:chungasrevenge wrote:

They WILL win the Cup this year. That's my (maybe not so) bold prediction.Kid-Wicked wrote:i watched it in 3D. pretty fucking cool. looked like i was watching bubble hockey.

Luongo seems "ready" and Schneider is a great back-up. The defence is rock solid and deep. They have 4 lines that can check and score. They are a VERY complete team.
Plus Dustin Byfuglien's ass is in the East now....

If the B's lose to the Habs, for the 3rd time this year, on Saturday, he could get whacked. This B's squad is too good to not win the division, not to mention lose out to the Habs. Even when they win it seems to be by the skin of their teeth...SkyDog112046 wrote:Another Bruins last second choke job yesterday. Why hasn't Neely fired Julien yet? Re: The official NHL thread
Julien sucks and should have been canned after last years playoff collapse. The only reason he isn't gone is because Jacobs is too fucking cheap to pay 2 coaches. Julien signed a multi-year extension back in Sept '09 so he has to be under contract for at least 1 more season. The only way he'll get canned this season is if Bruins fans stop going to games so attendance will go down, and that will never happen because the average Bruins fan is too stupid to do anything but show up and buy Jacob's overpriced tickets and overpriced concessions regardless of what happens on the ice.WOLF wrote:If the B's lose to the Habs, for the 3rd time this year, on Saturday, he could get whacked. Also, this has nothing to do with anything but the fun of seeing a Blues player owning himself on live TV.

Claude isn't going anywhere for a bit. They just came off a decent roadtrip and are 3 up on the Habs with 2 games at hand. That bought him another month at least.

The open line shows must be ablaze in Boston tonight. The Habs, playing without their best offensive and defensive D-men, and losing their best forward early in the game, come back from the dead to beat the B's in OT.
- Bruins played great for the first two periods
- They layed an egg in the third
- Julien had the wrong guys on the ice when the Habs had their goalie pulled
- Wheeler took a brain dead penalty in OT to give the Habs all the momentum
Habs got plenty lucky too, but I'll take it!

Blake Wheeler is a fuckin' bum. I've been saying that for awhile. Tonight made me think he should be put in front of a firing squad.WOLF wrote:The open line shows must be ablaze in Boston tonight. Positive note for the Bruins, the young guys are really starting to scare the shit outta me with how good they're gonna be. Kampfer, Seguin and Marchand are gonna be fucking GOOD.

Wheeler has one of the lowest faceoff win percentages in the league. I'd like to see him and Julien sent packing.LetUsPrey wrote:Blake Wheeler is a fuckin' bum. I've been saying that for awhile. I hate using this word when it comes to hockey, but Blake Wheeler is god damn useless.

Wheeler turns into the invisible man in the playoffs as well. Savard blows and has for the last 2 years. Chiarelli better have a move coming soon or Neely will.
I do still like the core and how the young guys are coming along.
Julien is living game to game. The fanbase is a little sensitive to collapses at this point.

I think we're pretty much looking at the 8 playoff teams in the east as currently listed in the standings. Seeding is another thing. Matchups as of today for shits and giggles:
Philly vs Atlanta
Tampa Bay vs Montreal
Boston vs NY Rangers
Pittsburgh vs Washington

Half the season left and you think the 2 points the Rangers are ahead of the Thrashers is almost a sure thing?chungasrevenge wrote:I think we're pretty much looking at the 8 playoff teams in the east as currently listed in the standings. C'mon man - you just have to know the Habs and B's are going to play a 7-gamer in the first round!chungasrevenge wrote:I think we're pretty much looking at the 8 playoff teams in the east as currently listed in the standings. Seeding is another thing. Matchups as of today for shits and giggles:

Published reports, via TMZ, are saying that Mike Komisarek is in hot water for punching a woman in a LA bar.
Apparently he'd had enough of Phil Kessel....
