So, it's best to just walk around the terrace levels drinking a flask of silver tequila and chomping down hash oil brownies until you barf over the railing.
Oh yeah... your son.
Try not to lose him in the riotous crowd after you get so fucked up, but then... that would be a lot more funny if you lost him. Loser.

Sting ripping off the Joker is better than anything he's done in a long time...
Since his promos have always pretty much sucked, it's probably the best mic work/character advancement work he's ever done.
It's really not THAT great, but still far fucking better than anything Steph the Hole and HHH the Nose could have ever booked for him.

103 is a good section for the event. 150$ thats seems like a good deal, those seats were 80$ face value i believe.

I was actually going to post something about this...What the FUCK? I've tried to watch TNA twice in the last month or two only to turn it on at the exact time that they were showing Sting, who no longer is The Crow but now a Cable Access version of Heath Ledger's Joker??? What the fuck?Subhuman Yeti wrote:Sting ripping off the Joker is better than anything he's done in a long time...

A Wrestling fan like me should be watching TNA since the reason I kinda got out of wrestling to begin with was because i couldn't adapt an interest in newer wrestlers and strictly wanted to see the 'good 'ol days' (you know, I'm the hair metal fan of wrestling lol) - but TNA really is treading the lines of cringe-ability (yes it warranted me making up a word) that many internet dwellers have been saying about it.

Yea I hear ya.
I'd love to see 2 different companies succeed in the U.S. but I just don't see it happening anymore.
TNA or Impact Wrestling might have 1 or 2 things good going for it and the rest I could care less about.
I've watched Sting his entire career and ever since he ditched the original look I don't know,Crow Sting was good for a short period so this new Joker Sting has breathed new life into him and I've always been a mark for Scott Steiner from when he was strictly a tag-team wrestler with his brother to his solo career.
HHH buried his ass the last time he was in WWE land and I thought that was bullshit.

Angle and Anderson didn't have a bad match going last night until the weekly 8 man run-in concluded the show for the 110th week in a row.
I watch IMPACT for the Knockouts only, mainly cause they all look like they do porn on the side.

it's a damn shame too. With the X-division, TNA could be so good.... Meh, oh well, I guess this week's episode of Pirate hookers & Has-beens was OK.

Did the X-Division feature fat guys like Abbyss in the early days? I have vague memory of watching the X-Division 6 or 7 years ago and it was so much cooler. Even remember people here hyping it.nakedmadman wrote:it's a damn shame too. With the X-division, TNA could be so good.... I forgot how much I love the video WWE made for Jeff Hardy a few years back. It was to the Lost Prophet's song Rooftops. It always amazed me at WWE shows how Jeff was one of the only people who was always over with all demographics. He has such a connection with the audience even without great promo skills. I still watch TNA but they really need Jeff back. I know Matt talked about Jeff having injuries that may force him to retire and that would suck.

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
What the fuck? Thank god they changed this, if this shit happens on Monday when I'm there I'm charging the ring! (you guys will post my bail right?
Monday’s RAW featured Triple H’s first night in charge as well as the surprise return of WWE title holder CM Punk.
According to Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, there were actually six different scripts written for RAW – one of which would have resulted in Triple H laying out CM Punk with a pedigree.
Although the obvious scenario would be for WWE to capitalize on CM Punk’s recent popularity and push him to the moon, most of the scenarios presented for Monday’s RAW were not to get Punk over, but to emphasize Triple H’s new role as Vince McMahon’s successor.
Prior to WWE settling on what we saw unfold on Monday night, the original plan for CM Punk’s return was for him to get attacked and pedigreed by Triple H. Alberto Del Rio then would have come out, cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase against John Cena at SummerSlam.
While this would have certainly put Triple H over as a major heel and led to an eventual program with a babyface CM Punk cooler heads prevailed and the angle of Punk getting squashed on the night of his return was scrapped

A Shamus face turn? Might be mildly amusing if they turn him loose on the mic at Pudge Henry.
R-Troof is pure gold.
2 teams does not make a tag team division, time for some new talent there.
The "divas" division is pretty much dead, at least on smackdown, and going into covulsions on Raw.
So is the Nose going to be the new Bitchoff? Gotta have his face on the tube twice a week for the next 10 years?
God Damn it Hunter, bring back the Cruiserweight title!!!

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
Even without all the "RVD 4:20 Means I Just Smoked Your Ass" part of RVD and his character...
I've just always liked RVD, his moveset, his workrate and how he really makes everyone he works with look GREAT, even Bam Bam Bigelow in ECW.
He was 'ok' as Robby V in WCW... always fun in Japan, and even when new, too arrogant and hated by the ECW hardcores... he was ALWAYS AWESOME in ECW. Tagging with Sabu, wrestling Sabu, wrestling everyone in ECW --
he and his frog splash were 5 fucking stars. He even got over in the WWE a few times before his weak push and he then he got over with that.
Paui Heyman created the RVD legend... not Vince.
...and I'd always to prefer to see RVD work... than anyone Vince has ever 'created' or 'made'

If they would have squashed Punk out of the gate I would have thrown the tv out the window. It just proves the jackasses that write that shit have no fucking clue what they are doing.
I would have held him out for a few more weeks. He should have stirred the shit by buying tickets for the front row, going on talk shows, etc.. They fucking blew it by hot-shotting the match for Summerslam. And dont give me this bullshit of Summerslam being a big PPV. When you can hear the cash register ringing you need to milk it for everything its worth. I'm not talking a Sting/Hogan year payoff but damn one week was a bit of a joke.

If they "needed" this to be the main event at SS, they should have started the angle a month earlier. In fact SS would have been better as someone said, with the ending of last week's RAW, and Punk coming back just then. Everything you typed is what they should have done. Have him showing up at arenas, and not even the front row. They could really act like it was unplanned, get a shot of him sitting in the stands up top, or in a Box. Do every radio and talk show that would book him and totally kayfabe it. As it stands the main event at SS is essentially the same main event as MITB. The "title unification" aspect doesn't add anything to the mix because technically with "HHH re-signing Punk", that de-legitimizes any other claim to the belt.
Jesus Christ, I talk about this like it's freaking real. Where's Redman when you need him...LOL

Re: The New (Spam Free) Never Ending Wrestling Thread
There's a few cards for house shows leading into Summerslam that look like:
Punk vs Cena vs Del Rio
Punk vs Cena vs Del Rio vs Miz
Which will be interesting if they decide to make this a 3 or 4 way match for the title. I could even almost see a "McMahon in every corner" type deal (Wrestlemania 16/2000) where Triple H would back CM Punk, Vince would back Del Rio, etc. It would end up with Triple H turning on Punk, costing him the belt and leading into the feud with a heel Triple H. Would be great TV and could be similar to Austin/McMahon years ago. Del Rio would be the "corporate" champion.
If the rumors are true and Mick Foley is coming back, I could see him backing Cena. Hell, maybe even have JBL back the Miz for whatever reason.
