Penn State trustees fired football coach Joe Paterno and university president Graham Spanier amid the growing furor over how the school handled sex abuse allegations against an assistant coach.

Crazy Levi, fitting name, I read this thread and got the sense that you may indeed also like to stick your hot dog in little boys buns. What else could explain your reactions in this thread?

I will give you an answer. But first, you have to explain why you send money to 17 year old girls you met on the internet to come and visit you. And then you have to explain why you save pictures of 16 year old kids on your hard drive for eight years. EIGHT YEARS.

Please explain, Jerry.
Retard, get a fucking clue. I've seen this picture floating around for some time. I'm sure this picture has been grabbed and saved in online photo albums many times by many people. I've seen this picture posted on other forums. Face it, your a douchebag who has made the rounds online.

You're an asshole.

I don't think Penn State should shut down its football program.

I think anybody who raped kids should probably go to jail.

I feel bad that a venerable old man's career is ending in shame with a legacy revered by countless people irrevocably tainted.

For that I need to sign up for the Megan's Law?

Probably go to jail? Damn, you're a Supreme Court Justice in the making.

Old man is correct. Old man that has to be reminded what fucking day it is and why he is at the place with the grass and all the loud people.

Only you can honestly answer that last question you posed. But your "probably" reply probably speaks volumns about how you will probably answer the question.

Not one of them had enough conscience to do the right thing. The university and everyone involved will be sued into oblivion.

It is going to cost them no less than 300 million. As for Paterno, beautiful ending for a morally bankrupt person.
And look for the NCAA to get involved too. They'll want to come down hard on Penn St to send a message and to distance themselves from the scandal.
This one's going to come out as well as your Broncos-Raiders prediction.

I honestly think this is going to get a LOT bigger, and a lot of more stuff is going to come out in the comings weeks/months. Going to be interesting.

Sandusky, Paterno, Curley, Shultz, Spanier are all pieces of garbage.

What exactly in the bazillion year career of Joe Paterno has ever led anybody to believe that he's a "morally bankrupt person"? There are probably thousands of young men that would say that he had a profoundly positive impact on their lives. This is like finding out that Abe Lincoln was a shitbag. Personally, I'm holding out hope that there's more to this thing that we know and that there's some kind of valid explanation for Paterno's inaction. I'm not making excuses for the man, and I think his ouster from Penn State was tbe only responsible course of action because on the surface, it appears that he was indeed "morally bankrupt", but I have a very hard time believing that THAT guy did what it looks like he did. There has to be more to this thing,

The U.S. Department of Education is now investigating Penn State for violation of the Clery Act, which requires Universities to report all crimes on campus and publicize all incidents. Conviction on a violation could result in Penn State being made ineligible to participate in ANY student aid program, which would be catastrophic if not fatal to the University.

The only mitigating circumstance for Paterno in this is that when he went to the school, they could of scared him into not taking it further. He still needed to be the bigger man in that scenario, but he seems to really care for the University and may have been told that the school would go down if it came out. Maybe they told him they'd take care of it and when they didn't, maybe then they told him shit would go down big time if he exposed it. Who knows. Even if what I just said is how it happened, it's still fucked up and he deserves to lose his job and be discredited forever.

How can they not fire the coach who saw it and reported it to Joepa instead of being a man and yelling at the sick fucker, WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!

I wouldn't be suprised if Sandusky doesn't eat a bullet in the next couple of days.

Some disadvantaged kid gets a suit from a booster so he can adhere to the dress code for road trips and the NCAA takes away the team's tournament victories and sanctions them. And yet you don't think that the NCAA will do anything about Paterno and his pals surrounding the football team turning Penn St into a pedophile's playground?

My high school football coach played on the Penn State 1969 undefeated Orange Bowl team. He loved that old bastard and used to talk about him all the time, glowingly and admiringly. I imagine coach Habe is distraught about this whole thing, as are countless other people.

I hope there's more to it also Bane, but in the end it's probably just what it looks like: some people made some terrible decisions...thought someone else would deal with it...etc. Legally, Joe probably made a terrible mistake in admitting "he wished he'd done more..." I can only imagine that statement is probably going to cost him tons of money in civil court.

Look, I just don't think a stiff fine is going to cut it in this case.

Jail time is probably warranted here.

http://www.midwestsportsfans.com/2011/1 ... y-scandal/

Earlier this morning, Mark Madden dropped a bomb of a rumor about the Jerry Sandusky scandal that, if you can believe it, would make an already stomach turning and angering story 100x worse.

Again, this is just a rumor, and I present it only because people will be talking about it, so I’d prefer you actually have the source; but I will say that Madden has proven with respect to this story that he has credibility and prescience.

If you don’t have time to listen, here is what Madden said (h/t Business Insider):

“I hear a rumor that there will be a shocking development from the Second Miles Foundation … That Jerry Sandusky and Second Mile were pimping out young boys to rich donors.”

Madden claims it’s being investigated by “two prominent columnists.”

Every professor at Penn State needs to read that 23 page grand jury report to those students that were 'protesting' last night aloud.
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

John,
I heard this allegation as well on my way to work today.
SICKENING(if true)

The Board at Penn State did the right thing last night by dictating when Jo Pa can end his career.
That step was a good one.
Firing the President of the University was also necessary.

This scandal is only going to get worse as more and more disgusting details are made public.

Jo Pa failed his school.
He chose to protect "the program and his previous football team" over looking out for the victims.

This Madden dude has the goods on Joe Pa and this entire case.
Madden appeared on the radio and said the technically, Jo Pa did not do anything illegal because
he reported the incident to his superior.

Jo Pa tells his boss and in his mind he has done his job to the best of his ability.

Madden also made it very clear that Jo Pa knows everything, everything about what happens in
his program. Of course he does. Jo Pa's ego won't allow for anybody else to have any power.

Fuck ALL those douchebags that were involved (no matter how small) and did nothing to stop it!! I don't want to hear any of their bullshit excuses!!

The kids safety and protection should always be priority number 1! Fuck that school and their fucking sports program.

If it was one of my kids that that bastard raped, there would be no safe place on earth he could hide...I would get him one way or another. He would be begging for death by the time I got finished with him.
