Gasol for Rondo
Would you do it?
I would. I am a big fan of Gasol, but the Lakers need a point guard. I hate the Celtics, but have always liked Rondo's spunky attitude. He would be the perfect (next to C Paul) ying to Kobe's yang.

Re: Gasol for Rondo
Maybe. My concern would be another offensive weapon to further spread the scoring load.

Re: Gasol for Rondo
My guess would be that either McRoberts or Murphy move into the starting line up. Both have their +s & -s. Neither are Gasol, but neither is Fisher or Blake equal to Rondo.Rainbow Bright wrote:Maybe. My concern would be another offensive weapon to further spread the scoring load.
Or they pick up a big from somewhere else. Who would that be? You got me.

Re: Gasol for Rondo
That would be a good choice. I read somewhere that when his contract is up, he becomes a "restricted" free agent.Rainbow Bright wrote:Aaron Brooks? He should be about done with his stint in China.
I would prefer the Lakers p/u a pguard without having to give up Gasol or Bynum. I think Bynum has become untouchable unless for Dwight Howard.
I'm a big Gasol fan, but sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do.

I'd be patient and wait for Jonny Flynn to come. He will do good there.
How about Gasol for Nash and Gortat!
Do it in a second!

Dude's fucking ON FIRE. Especially for a 38 year old guy. If you want to win right now, that would be the ticket.Clovis Died wrote:I'd be patient and wait for Jonny Flynn to come. He will do good there.

Yes it would, heck they could Wilson Chandler instead of Gortat.

Re: Gasol for Rondo
He's a slashing point guard that can't shoot outside of 12 feet. His style of play is going to get him killed like Iverson.dtmfs wrote:One of the best PG's in the league for a soft ass Billy goat?? Fuck that!
He's like the Liberace of bass & pot.

Re: Gasol for Rondo
Read today that Derrick Rose wants the Bulls to trade for Gasol.
He said give the Lakers Boozer & a pguard. What? Does he want
to be traded to Lakers? Yeah, the Lakers are looking to "give" away
Gasol.
If the Lakers can land a decent pguard without trading Gasol, I'm good
with that. The only way the Lakers trade Gasol is if they get one of
the premier pguards such as D Williams or Rondo. Other that that, he stays.

I'm telling you Nash and Gortat, I wouldn't trade him for Rondo or anything that Chicago has to offer.yeahbuddy wrote:Read today that Derrick Rose wants the Bulls to trade for Gasol.

Phoenix wouldnt make that trade unless other parts were added.Clovis Died wrote:I'm telling you Nash and Gortat, I wouldn't trade him for Rondo or anything that Chicago has to offer.yeahbuddy wrote:Read today that Derrick Rose wants the Bulls to trade for Gasol.

3 on 5.
