I'm not really a huge Rugby League fan. Rugby Union (the version of rugby some Americans might be familiar with) is a far more interesting game IMO.


However, in a good year, the State of Origin series is the most intense team sports event in the world.

For Americans, imagine a three game pro-bowl series that isn't a joke of an exhibition, but instead an incredibly intensely contested series where all the players consider it a great honor to be selected and play accordingly.

I'd watch it, been seeing more and more rugby matches televised. No clue what leagues they are I'm sure there is hundreds. I plan to pay more attention.
Been catching more soccer games as well. Not sure what leagues they are either, with teams like Manchester United would it be English premier?

I call it Soccer because I said so.
