Trent Reznor’s latest soundtrack work, + new How to Destroy Angels & NIN music in the works

Time for an update on what Trent Reznor has been working on.
First, he’s recorded the theme song for the forthcoming “Call of Duty: Black Ops II” video game.
Trent’s a really big fan of the “Call of Duty” franchise, and it’s been described as an “agressively sounding” and “weighty” track.
Second, the new album by How to Destroy Angels—the band whose lineup also includes Trent’s wife, Mariqueen, and his movie soundtracking partner, Atticus Ross—is pretty much finished, and Trent says that the project “became much more rhythmic and not any happier, but it really started to take on its own identity.”
“We’re doing a little bit of tweaks on it,” Trent says. “The record will be out soon. We are doing a different type of distribution this time, so it’s taking a little bit longer to coordinate stuff. There’s a lot of music about to be unleashed, videos, et cetera.”
Third, here we go: new Nine Inch Nails material is “in its gestation period.”
When whatever it is comes out, it’ll be the first new NIN music we’ll have heard since 2008’s The Slip.

I know nothing of the music industry. Why would distribution be a problem? HTDA first album was offered as a free download. I do not understand. Is he stalling?

Her back up vocals were....sorry....decent. The canned synth tunes I could have done without. Damn Ming and Ping sound like a shitty 80's band. Ming and Ping's vocals would be passable too, but the instrumental part is so lame. Lyrically this song sucks too. They pretty much just repeat: "I'll meet you down in Chinatown" then whistle. WTF is that.
