How is Martin a wimp?? I really don't understand that argument. I think that POV must come from wanna be tough guys who feel they could have/would have handled the situation a lot differently.

Looking forward to hearing all the details about the harassment Martin suffered at the hands of his teammates and possibly his coaches for about 18 months.
Have you ever been in a locker room??? It's one of the most vile, disgusting, humiliating places to be. Much like initiation into a fraternity, you have certain stairs to climb. In high school, the seniors have carte blanche to essentially torture the freshman. Ditto in college. In the pros, the old vets break the young bucks in. I don't condone racism or any actual physical beat downs, but it's been a part of the game and every team game for decades. You work your way up to being one of the guys who gets to run the show. Like I said, Incognito took things to an extreme with his racist comments, but I'm sure a lot of players have endured a lot worse than Martin did and never quit the team.

Just like you said, Incognito took these to a whole other level that is out of bounds.
And you know what, I don't think other players were forced to endure and suffer like Martin did.

Over the weekend I heard Incognito forced Martin to purchase a jet ski. WTF????

If Martin was a lot stronger, there is no telling what sort of a fair or unfair beating Incognito would have suffered at the hands of Martin.
Or even worse, what if Martin lost his mind and used a gun to solve the problem?

Hazing has always been accepted in the NFL.
We are talking about tying up a player to a goal post or dunking a player into an ice bath or asking the player to bring in breakfast or lunch, etc......

Incognito was asking for much more and tens of thousands of dollars from Martin.

Then the Dolphins made the problem much worse by electing Incognito to the leadership team, despite knowing he molested a female with a golf club(but the public didn't get to learn about this because the team had the victim sign a confidentiallity agreement in exchange for who knows how much $$$)

Mentally Martin is a wimp and Incog is a raging asshole. With everything that's out including Martin's texts about being confused and overwhelmed shows there's more going on in Martin's head then just being bullied. Martin needs a shrink, he has more issues even if it starts with Incogs bullying but it looks like the Coach encouraged Incog to do it. And the coach clearly didn't know how deep the issue ran.

Video Incog acting innocent and saying: See, Martin texted he'd KILL ME! More like you pushed Martin overboard or it could have been an old joke, either way I didn't buy half of Incog's I'm innocent video.

It was sickening to hear Incog ask how come no one on the team is saying, blah blah blah. Because the locker room is backing you up, dickhead. Martin went outside the circle and is now an outcast so the QB/team will back Incog. Martin will never be able to go back while Incog will be welcomed into the group.
Martin will be the punch line to every joke in that locker room from now on.

Martin shouldn't have went outside the team, but I can see why he did. I'd like to see Martin pick up on another team while Incog gets kicked off and picked up for penny's on the dollar.

In the football world nothing should happen, incog goes back to work while the team jokes about Martin. In the media world Incog gets suspended and the Coach....The Coach should take full responsibility, it's his team to control.

You're not wrong but what everyone keeps overlooking is Martin isn't a rookie.

Martin is soft so the staff told Incog to toughen him up and the ball started rolling. I've see this situation play many times, I've seen big dudes walk off the team when bullied into being tough and I've seen teams do it with constant encouragement. Some found the gut's, some found another hobby. Martin was soft and the team picked the wrong approach to toughen him up.

I dealt with being targeted in warmups and practices to see what I was made of. Every fucking drill I faced the biggest monster. Then I'd get set up for crack backs n shit, if I was doing a FB Dive they'd sneak the play over to the Defense...Or I got to play equipment manager a couple times. Big deal.
In the end, I'd target them back if they was dirty or assholes about it. Wait for that right play and dish out some punishment...Everyone does it.
It's all part of that respect shit and Dicks like Incog live off it, they need the respect to feed their egos. A majority of players do.

Martin is one of those dudes who didn't have that extreme attitude most coaches want. I want you to RAWR! Martin was physically tough but mentally the staff wanted him to have the killer attitude that would pick his game up. They went about it the wrong way. Clearly.

Oh, I'd agree with that. We have a staff that doesn't put up with the extreme stuff like what you and I grew up with. No swirlies, no wedgies, no getting stuffed into a locker, etc. We still let the upper classmen lead and let the pups learn though. Some would say we are too "soft" on the kids, clearly though, in today's climate some would say we still allow bullying because we let the seniors (and some juniors) direct the freshmen and sophomores throughout the summer and into the winter. This case was EXTREME, but I just don't think that most housewives and sludgers that are seeing this on the news realize that this is EXACTLY what goes on in every locker room, bus ride, and hotel stay from 7th grade until....however long you play....

Tampa vs Miami - Tampa will get their first win behind the new running game, a catch or two by Vincent but mainly by winning the turn over battle.

Jacksonville vs Titans - Rather then grinders, the Jags' will have some big run's and not just by MJD. Jake Locker tosses a key pick that seals the deal.
Jaguars 29 - Titans 27

Dolphins 19 - Buccaneers 22

Jag's - get TD's by two of their RB's and key turnovers
Tampa - 140yds rushing

Hell no, TWO teams without a win halfway through the season. This is the best chance so far for a team to tie the Lions 0-16 regular season record.

I've got a whole $1.35 bet on Miami beating the Pirates. Edited because WTF I don't even watch baseball I meant Buccaneers.

Give me a fucking cookie! That $1.35 you lost, it should go to me.

Broncos are asking NFL Offices to review the hit on Manning this week by
Charger defender Corey Liuget.

Ridiculous.
The tackle was a clean hit.

If a defender cannot hit a QB in head area, then the middle & lower body are
fair game.

Seeing that play and its aftermath reminded me exactly what I don't like about Peyton Manning - his incessant bitching and moaning to the officials and begging for a flag whenever he gets hit. Favre spent the last few years of his career doing exactly the same thing.

I dislike Peyton just as much as the next guy, but I overheard the Ref's mic
pick up some audio when Peyton was complaining.
I don't think he was bitching about the hit. He barked out having to call a timeout and I think that was in reference to him having to sit out at least 1 play for being injured.
Am I right about that?

In the post-game interview he referred to the hit and that's when I know he
was whining and complaining.

I see Peyton's career ending about like Kurt Warner and Favre's did... after taking a (by the rules) beating just like they did in a playoff game.

I like him all right I'd hate for him to have his neck broke or some serious wheelchair bound shit but I still think they'll be a important game and some defense will beat the shit out of him and he'll realize my time is up.
