Oregonian here...we've had vote-by-mail for 22 years. There were 10 guilty pleas in 2016, possibly more from the 56 referred by the Secretary of State. Most were for voting in two states, OR and WA. One was a woman who voted for her daughter out of state in college.
That's out of over 2 million votes cast in that election.
We take our elections seriously. Do not fuck around. One year I spent so much time making sure my husband and the kid signed their envelopes I forgot to sign mine. I got a call from the county clerk and was able to go to the courthouse and sign it.
But it is odd that the Fat Pig is going after just Nevada and Michigan if they mail even the applications for vote by mail. Threatening to withhold federal funds if they do it. Which is illegal anyway, the states decide how they do their elections.
This is why this is all so fucked up. No one can deny what this is. It's clear as day, right on the surface, that this is election manipulation. When you're announcing your intent to commit that crime in front of everyone's faces and the government doesn't act to stop the person, democracy is basically in a death grip.
Now if people vote by mail, how will the GOP attempt to steal ballots like they were PPE? Because we know those cats won't stop. Even if thwarted in one measure, whatever needs to be done, they'll attempt it.

I agree. People just want to be offended, and as you say, we're going to have to listen to both sides and their incessant whining. To act like it's out of line for Joe Biden to question the loyalties of a minority, when minorities owe so much to people like Biden, is ridiculous. We have choices in America.
We have to realize that our American Right has made great strides within the African American community. I have seen enough of the African community on YouTube to know that a very large percentage of them are Right leaning. It is distressing to think that someone like Joe Biden would try and take away these tokens of friendship within the Right and claim them as his own. If it's not free speech, it's literal freedom they're trying to take away.

The last poll I saw had Trump with 7% of the black vote. Now I don't always go by polls, but let's just assume using some deduction that he likely does only have a small slice of that pie.
I think most black voters wisely realize the GOP just uses them as props.
