Never known anyone that's been shot. Did it hurt like hell? How long were you in the hospital? Where did you get shot? Why did you get shot?

I've been tased, pepper sprayed, tear gassed, and have been punched in the head and face a lot, but I'm hoping not to add to that with a gunshot wound.

Neither, We’re exposed to various chemical agents as part of our training. If you deploy them, there’s no way you’re not going to get some back on you, so we’re exposed yearly to manage our expectations.
I’ve drawn my taser and OC in service but haven’t had to deploy either, thankfully. The one real altercation I’ve had, I forgot I even had that shit and just tackled the guy.

Not me, but when I was a kid my family (minus my dad who was at work) witnessed a shooting right outside our house. The guy survived somehow, though it was at close range. My mom had to testify in court.

I haven't, but at least 7 were shot dead and two more died at the hospital after a mall shooting in Texas, today.

Five killed in Texas last weekend, six killed last Monday near Tulsa, another shooting at a medical building last Wednesday. We're all just waiting for our turns. USA!!! USA!!!

We used to get shotgun pellets raining down on us out in the mushroom fields in high school. The landowners didn't care for us long-haired trippy freaks, I suppose. It didn't really hurt too bad since they were so far away, just stung a little. We probably ran a 4.0 40 yard dash getting back to the car.

At least it will probablly be a small caliber hole. It should be hard to put a 44 magnum in their prison holster.
