I was photographing that show in Traverse City, MI. That's the back of my head taking photos in part of that video lol

Was a pretty cool surprise to see him there earlier in the evening. It was Stephen Pearcy's birthday. Ted and Jack Blades stopped by to wish him a happy birthday.. Jack was telling me they had a lil "something something" planned for later that night.. I think everyone pretty much figured Nugent would get up and jam a song or two.. which he did.. "Coming of Age" and "Cat Scratch Fever"...

The whole day was pretty cool. Pearcy put on a pretty sweet set. His g/f had arranged for the night ranger guys to come out during his set to sing happy birthday. I am at this festival up there every year. This was by far the loudest i have ever heard that crowd. Crowd was really into both Pearcy and Night Ranger.. Brad Gillis was cool as hell. He had just gotten done re-sanding the neck of his guitar and was showing it to everyone. It was super smooth. Ted took it for a spin..Night Ranger and Pearcy are doing some shows together again on the west coast i think.. I'd love see that again..

Back on topic... that sounded great. Love him or hate him, Ted has a ferocious guitar tone. A Damn Yankees reunion would be one of the few things left to get excited about these days.

Talent notwithstanding, yes, Brad can play. Although, I think it's telling that even the perpetually drunk and high Ozzy from the eighties wanted nothing to do with him once he found Jake.

And yes, Keri looks INCREDIBLY out of place. I think Alice Cooper would fire him again, given the chance. As far as Ted goes, well, at least there's a Ted Nugent song I like. I can't say the same about Night Ranger.
