Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Crown of Horns
While I appreciated the unique aspects, I found it didn't quite connect with me after a few listens. Overall, not terrible.
Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Crown of Horns
Pretty decent melodic number, IMHO.
*I kinda want a new screenname. Seriously. I barely watch racing anymore.

Not a Judas Priest nutswinger, but the three tracks we've heard so far are really good! They are in fact brilliant, given the aspect that Priest has been going for +50 years now!
I never post when I'm sober.

This one is radio friendly. Too bad it'll never get played.

Decent album track. I won’t skip it when listening to the album but it’s not a ”banger” like ”Panic Attack”.

This is the first song from Invincible Shield ive heard that i've liked.
Not sure why they all need long guitar intros, though. Especially this one.

Solid tune! Always like some some melody in my rock and metal. This is a very enjoyable track.

It's OK..it's sounds like a throw away from a Halford album...I have really only listened to 'made of metal' and it fits right into that album.

starts okay, but the lyrics are abysmal and the chorus is terrible. Judas Priest never did well when trying to sound radio friendly or melodic.

Re: JUDAS PRIEST - Crown of Horns
Aside from The Mower, that album is pretty weak. But the first two, Resurrection and Crucible are solid, lots of good stuff on there. And his double live album Live Insurrection is killer, one of the best live albums out there (admitedly there's a lot of studio shenanigans on it like on Unleashed in the East)...the_man_incognito wrote: ↑Fri Jan 19, 2024 10:50 am It's OK..it's sounds like a throw away from a Halford album...I have really only listened to 'made of metal' and it fits right into that album.

Liked it on the first couple listens, but really liking it after several more. Digging the melodies and Rob's vocals on this one.

I can't be the only one who noticed the melody in the intro is the exact same thing as the "Waited so long" part from Two Tickets to Paradise, right?

Nice to see Glenn in the video:

But Ian is the definition of COOL!
The song is a grower! I’m really looking forward to the album. Who would have thought they’d release an album in 2024, and better yet possibly a great album!
