ROCK on the Spectrum
Who are some ROCKERS (rollers too) you suspect may be on the Autism Spectrum?
Rivers Cuomo of Weezer for sure.
Maybe Neil Peart? Such a fine line between autism and nerd.

Re: ROCK on the Spectrum
Judging from his social media interactions I often wonder if Wolfie is a tad on the spectrum himself.

I can't decide whether Zappa was an autist or just an extreme misanthrope.

Daniel Johns
Travis Meeks
Basically anyone who’s extremely talented and deemed ‘difficult to work with’ I wouldn’t be surprised to learn they were ND to some degree (Eddie, Axl, etc.)

I never got that vibe. He was an old school alcoholic. He seemed like a fun loving, super nice guy but then "instant asshole...just add alcohol".
David Lee Roth on the other hand may have a few screws loose.
Ozzy too!

Ozzy was dyslexic, sexually abused in HS, and dropped out at 15 to work odd jobs when he wasn't being a petty thief.

Gary Numan claims he was diagnosed as being on the spectrum. Some have speculated that Alan Wilson of Canned Heat could have been too.
Having said that, most of us here are probably not qualified to determine who may or may not be on the spectrum.

True. But it sure is trendy on the SM apps to self-diagnose these days.CrankerBait wrote: ↑Mon Mar 04, 2024 4:20 pm

Ric Ocasek maybe?
Peter Tork was diagnosed Asperger’s late in life. Wouldn’t surprise me if Mike Nesmith was as well.
Joe Walsh, David Byrne diagnosed Asperger’s. Cuntney Love is autistic.
MJ absolutely.

Re: ROCK on the Spectrum
Dan “We Are The World” Ackroyd is diagnosed Asperger’s. Weird guy, he’s right into aliens and shit.
He also stole Paul Stanley’s greatest love away from him so Paul will hate his guts forever.
That will never not be funny. Paul being such a narcissist who thinks his body is irresistible and she goes off with the fat Ghostbuster.

He's never been functional, and he's just a drug addict.
