I was 12 when this came out on MTV and hadn't starting playing guitar yet.
The Brad Gillis solo blew me the fuck away...I was in awe..
As i started getting into guitar and progressed over the years, of course I learned that Brad's solo is more 'flash' and Jeff's solo was more technical...
But to this day, when DTMYLM comes on, I always have to crank Brad's solo and it takes me back to that time..

As i started getting into guitar and progressed over the years, of course I learned that Brad's solo is more 'flash' and Jeff's solo was more technical...
But to this day, when DTMYLM comes on, I always have to crank Brad's solo and it takes me back to that time..

There are very few tunes from that era that I still crank, and this is one. Used to play it acoustically when I was doing solo patio cover gigs, minus the solos of course.
