Nothing changed except TwiX was bought by a guy who either loves the new hard-right movements globally, or is a troll, posting or allowing others to post controversy just for clicks and revenue, or is both.
Fair point.....but if I recall correctly, wasn't the ban lifted prior to Musk's acquisition of Twitter?

I suppose I could google it myself, but I just don't care enough about Trump and/or Twitter to do so.

No the Trump ban was lifted by EM. In November 2022 a few weeks after completing the TwatterX purchase Musk posted a poll to determine the fate of Trumps ban. The next day Musk announced "The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Vox Populi, Vox Dei."

Every politician has a crazy brother hiding in the weeds - remember Billy Carter, Roger Clinton, etc. And GWB was the crazy brother.

Tim Walz, also a former educator, has made a name for himself as one of the most radical leftist leaders in the United States.

He is the one behind Kamala, since she has no clue what she's doing. He is the surrogate husband who she takes her cues from. He, Pelosi, and Obama will essentially be running the country if they win. We are in deep shit if we end up with this awful dynamic.

Feels a lot like 2020 … republicans saying polls are wrong, etc., etc., so they don’t vote.

I saw on a popular “news” channel that one of the states in 2020 that Trump lost by like 80,000 there were 100,000 republicans who just didn’t vote or didn’t mail it in … probably because “the polls are wrong” … yeah some polls are total bullshit but some very are close to the truth.

Republicans are lazy and democrats are crazy … like a fox!

Bill Maher took it way too easy on Pelosi this week, I thought he had bigger balls than that … she mine as well had been interviewed by CNN or MSNBC.

Before 2020, was there any question of the integrity of the elections? I don't ever recall any, even win Gore accepted his narrow loss.

That election was the 2nd closest of all time, coming down to one single state to determine the election and how the votes would be counted. The GOP wanted the counting to stop and Bush declared victor The Supreme Court ruled on partisan grounds with the 5 conservative justices voting in favor of stopping the counting, thereby handing the election to Bush.

Subsequent investigations have concluded that Gore had more votes in Florida and that if the recounting had been allowed statewide, he'd have been declared the victor.

At no time did Al Gore say "we need to fight like hell or we're not going to have a country anymore" and urge his supporters to interrupt the electoral count certification in the House of Representatives. Nor did he himself, as the sitting Vice President, refuse to certify the election like the piece of shit that calls itself Donald Trump urged Mike Pence to do.

Right - the Republican brother enjoys petty retail theft. I’m always impressed by the lack of self awareness and entitled hypocrisy from these people. If Maya Harris had that on her record, Republicans would race to be the first on record calling her an animal and a thug. Probably same if Jeff Walz was supporting his brother instead and had that on his record. No big deal when their people do it though.

Was this the counting chads election? I really don't remember any question of integrity. What I remember is Gore not pushing the issue and quietly walking away into the sunset. What I don't remember is him calling it a rigged election and telling his supporters (that he'd been riling up for years) to fight like hell to save Merica'.

To be fair. The US has fully allowed Israel to bomb innocent women and children in the occupied territories for decades. How they can sleep well at night is beyond me. Evil stuff. This isn’t a partisan opinion. Both sides equally culpable. And nothing will ever fucking change.

It was a mistake and the U.S. government officially apologized.

When Trump’s buddy Putin deliberately bombs children’s hospitals in Ukraine, Trump’s fine with it and Republicans are silent.

Not excusing what happened in 2015, I just get really tired of these implications that both sides are equally bad and there should be room for nuance.

It's a good old American tradition. Ask the poor German women and children in the 1940s..Not to mention the Japanese. But somehow, they were more the "bad guys" than murderous @ntisemites Hamas....
