Unreleased Van Halen
Just 30 seconds or so, but this is really a good-sounding piece of music. Makes me want more.

That totally sounds like one of those meth inspired instrumentals he did for that porn movie.

This is the kind of stuff they were bringing to the band but sure, Sammy was the one who made them go soft

That became obvious already with VH3. Decent riffs and solos buried in crap songs with even worse lyrics.Corey's Guitar Solo wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 1:40 am It sounds like tuneless garbage. The brothers clearly had massive help with songwriting throughout their careers.

I think it sounds cool - Would love to hear what DLR could have added, but I'm fine with it just being an instrumental sendoff. Alex's snare pop is so distinctive, even at the demo stage.

VH3 would have been a great record if Sammy was on it .Love_Industry wrote: ↑Wed Sep 04, 2024 8:46 amThat became obvious already with VH3. And a better one if Roth was on it.

It sounds like Van Halen brothers pathetically attempting to perform David Lee Roth's "Damn Good"

I think I disagree. It's nothing like that, in large part because it doesn't have a vocal but also it doesn't use the Stairway To Heaven chords. What I do like in this is the tone that Edward gets on the lead, and the rather nice chord change they use near end of the first phrase.FreddyFender wrote: ↑Thu Sep 05, 2024 5:00 am It sounds like Van Halen brothers pathetically attempting to perform David Lee Roth's "Damn Good"
