This guy has a point that VIPs are largely not worth it, especially the more popular an artist is.

And that no one thinks of buyers of M&Gs as "VIPs". They think of them as some easy money to be made, and probably spent already, and annoying assholes they want to spend the absolute minimum of time with.

As my KISStard Meet n Greet threads suggest, most of the “VIPs” at these things are fucking mouth breathers! Same deal at the ComiCon signings etc, they just naturally draw a really odd subset of people.

The only arena level / paid M&G I did was with Miranda Lambert included with my $30 fan club membership I only got for presale codes but she loves her fans, at least the ones who don't disrupt her performance. Almost spent $100 on Jesus Jones at the Whisky but it would have involved me hanging around WeHo for 8 hours until they took the stage after all the pay to play openers. That one included a 3 song set.

When I was still making good money in 2019 and the Spice Girls did the UK stadium reunion I figured if they bring that here I would pay $1k or so but that never happened and they probably wouldn't mess with bother for chump change like that anyway.

I've got a friend who got that package and I could tell he was disappointed with it. But my friend unfortunately is blessed with Mark David Chapman vibes and is probably the reason Vai and Satch elect to stay on the stage when they come to Springfield MO
